Weekend celebration of my birth

Thank you all for making my birthday oh so very special!! I couldn't ask for better friends!! Friday night the girls planned a night at Green Door which is my new favorite place. Its only been open for a week but I can promise you that it is the next best spot. The decor is completely different than any place in la, they dont over crowd and you can actually hear someone during conversation. They have dinner pre-lounge hours however dining on a lower mirrored table coupled with opera music brought classic laughs. The night quickly got wild, we danced the night away to some Chris Holmes spinning drinking vodka sodas while making fun of Paris. Thank you all again for planning and coming!!! There were no cameras allowed, obvi, but I have one picture pre activities: Saturday am I went to the cutest 1st birthday imaginable!! My little nephew is the cutest baby in the world, no seriously he is, and his mom threw quite the shindig. Afterwards I met up with the z, mich, deb and haley for an afternoon walk on La Brea. On our way to American Rag we ran into none other than Kanye West who happened to be dining with Common, Kings of Chicago! They are the real deal. After the girls made a few purchases we were off to Senora for afternoon cocktails. On our way back we stopped by the Merry Karnowsky Gallery for a Gen Art outing. We continued our attempt to get home when we ran into a statue of Homer Simpson, photo shoot time!! Haley please send us the pics!! Tired and ready to chill we went to Sycamore then home. Bed early on a Saturday is heaven. Sunday was Campanile brunch with the cousins who got me the most amazing book. Its called Post Secret and it has pages full of homemade post cards filled with anonymous secrets. Turns out they have a blog: postsecret.blogspot.com. Its a new addiction, thank you Stevie and Marisa!!
Amongst the book one of my other favorite gifts was Z's, she made me 3 amazing cds which I haven't stopped listening to and got me a Pegah Anvarian scarf that I'm absolutely obsessed with!! Thank you lover!!My mom is taking me to Wicked and Jersey Boys, I cant wait!!

The best gift, yes this is when I get cheesey, was being surrounded by all of those I love. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN FOR AN AMAZING BIRTHDAY!!
