Girl Hot or Boy Hot: Women's Wear Inspired by Men's Wear

Worn famously by Ellen Degeneres, the male inspired looks are no longer part of the "office only" section in a females closet. The once deemed "none feminine" attire has transformed into a chic phenomenon appearing on the red carpet and in everyday casual by the likes of Kirsten Dunst, Jessica Alba, Ashley Olsen, Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway and others. From vests, to suits, button ups and sport coats the trend represents everything sexy about a woman, confidence. Is there anything sexier than a woman slipping into her boyfriend clothes and looking hotter in them than he does?
This look is easily attainable. If you dont want to spend a ton you can go vintage (if in LA I highly recommend Jet Rags sunday $1 sale), raid your brothers closet, try GAPs Narrow-striped fitted shirt in a size up and for even less try the mens section of Forever in a small or extra small. The key to keeping this boy hot, no buttoning until mid chest, see above.

A nice suit is a sound investment especially now since you can look sophisticatedly fashionable wearing a 3 piece both in the office and out. Zac Posen, Valentino and Miu Miu showed great Fall suit collections however Banana Republics Suit Collections are much more affordable. If you arent keen on the suit look you can always go with a tailored jacket such as this Helmut Lang. To girl hot it up a bit add a flirtatious hanky in the pocket but nix the cigar.

The suit needs to be the right cut to be boy hot. No mom suits.
