Backstage at the Hermes show, model Angela Lindvall said she's working on an ecologically minded fashion event, called Be Eco Chic. Its soft launch is due to take place during L.A. Fashion Week before moving to Kuala Lumpur in November, followed by New York. "I started educating myself about things going on in the world and was blown away by the facts," she said. "So, I began thinking about how to bring the information to the mainstream. Fashion is about creating trends." Lindvall said the idea of Be Eco Chic — which also has the support of Shalom Harlow, Erin Wasson, IMG and Earth Pledge, among others — is to show that sustainability can be sexy.Eco Chic, love the term!
