Latest Addiction: Youngblood

I know very little about make up and if it weren't for my knowledgeable friends I would be walking around with a slight tint of orange, clumpy mascara and severely dark eyebrows. Luckily Im pretty popular and am surrounded by all sorts of beauty queens. That was a joke, did that translate off the screen? Anyway, I was introduced to Bare Minerals a good 6 months ago and I swear it changed my life. My once blotchy, uneven skin was actually all one shade! Who knew!? For $23 a pop lasting a good 3 months I was content with the product even though in the back of my mind I knew the quality was crapola and in photographs my coloring was a lite hue of casper with too much bronzer. Most normal girls would find a solution, you know like go to the make up counter and find something that actually looks good but not me! I wait around for my glam friends to rescue my bad looks and tadaaahhh they came through!

I was introduced to Youngblood and ummmm its amazing. Hopefully my pores give back and really clear up since Ill no longer be stuffing them with low grade dust. Honestly, Bare Minerals and I had some good times but I felt guilty every time I put it on, it was blatantly a disservice to my social life. Anywhooo, I debuted my updated make up regimen on halloween!! The results: Not to toot my own horn but I thought it turned out quite nice and its literally 3 very simple steps. First I applied Youngbloods Natural Loose Mineral Foundation which is incredibly pure with their Ultimate Foundation Brush. The fragrance free foundation, concealer, and powder all-in-one glides on beautifully and the sleek packaging made me enjoy putting on my make up a tad bit more! Available in: Pearl, Cool Beige, Ivory, Neutral, Barely Beige, Soft Beige, Honey, Warm Beige, Tawnee, Rose Beige, Toffee, Fawn, Sunglow, Coffee, Hazelnut, and Mahogany you are bound to find the right tone. The Price: $34.95.

Next I used Youngbloods Ultimate Concealer which is so rich and creamy, its like cashmere under the eyes. The mineral concealer is the perfect blend of light-reflecting minerals which not only make the skin look smoother, but also draws attention away from dark circles and won’t settle into fine lines and wrinkles. Ultimate Concealer is available in: Fair, Medium, and Tan. The price: $24.95.

After I applied my bronzer and way too much blush, my signature that gets made fun of and rubbed off daily, I glossed over my face with Youngbloods lightweight Mineral Rice Setting Powder. The product is ideal for a finishing touch or as a primer for a flawless matte canvas. Mineral Rice Setting Powder is available in: Light, Medium, and Dark. The price: $19.95.

Ok, almost done. Lastly, I toted around the Pressed Mineral Foundation in my little clutch to touch up. Ive never in my life used a powder but I got talked into this product and Im happily adoting it! It provides exceptional concealing properties and works beautifully as a complement to the Loose Mineral Foundation or on its own. Pressed Mineral Foundation is available in: Neutral, Barely Beige, Soft Beige, Honey, Warm Beige, Tawnee, Rose Beige, and Toffee. Again, an expansive selection catering to all skin colors. The price: $37.50.

V'wala!!!!!!!
