onesies

luckily one pieces have gone beyond the geriatric swim aerobics classes and are now socially acceptable for pool wear. with coachella just about one week away im not sure if im ready for a bikini nor do i think that anyone at the pool would care to see my pale pale, ok see through, skin.

i think that im leaning towards purchasing an american apparel one piece for the festivities but if i decide to splurge on a spray tan i may (huge may) consider a bikini. palm springs, could you handle it?

any thoughts on the onesies would be much appreciated!

Be proud to be pale! (I like the fourth one.)

I'm trying to find a skirted swimsuit that isn't fruity looking. I love the one from Toast - http://www.toast.co.uk/product2.aspx?categorypath=daywear/beach&productid=CXS7I&categoryref=%2fcategory2.aspx%3fcategorypath%3ddaywear%2fbeach%26nopaging%3dtrue

but I dont want to spend that much since I will be wearing it very few times.

Please don't get a spray tan. You'll look much better pale, I'm sure. And I like the one on the bottom right.

I like more bikinis than one piece, but #4 is cute, and of course one piece bathing suites also can be stylish.
Don't care about your skin tone, you would manage to be great.

xx

oh, and p.s. i think the suit on the bottom left is seriously adorable.

I'm a pale girl too and am attempting to accept it. And failing. I love onesies - especially the cutaway ones...

Definitely try it on in the store. AA fits so weird. especially bathing suits.

Love the 3rd and 4th pair. Seriously they are great. Especially th colour of the 3rd pair.

I've actually tried on the 4th one (bottom right) and it had a very good fit. For me it didn't quite work because my breasts were too large for it, but the cutouts and the legs were very nice. If it had a slightly wider bandeau, I would have bought it.

I have a one piece from AA that I bought last year. Be sure to try it on first because a lot of their pieces run short in the torso and the straps end up digging into your shouders while the arse rides up. Not a good look. I found one that fits and I really love it. But I've found that their bathing suits are really suited much for bathing. I guess it's a good thing you're planning on wearing it to Coachella (so jealous BTW) and not to the beach. I wore mine in a swimming pool once and let's just say everyone got an eye full when I came up out of the water. Some of them get a little translucent when wet. Also, my boob popped out of the side. Yikes. Hope that helps!

Oh, and pale is pretty!

I have the AA one piece pictures on the bottom left, and it is absolutely flattering in every which way possible

Go with the purple one.
You could even pair it with jeans for a bodysuit look.
Or.. I would def get a bikini but in a color that would suit your skin and one that doesn't look too beach-y (ie. no Hawaiian florals). And load up on the accessories.

Hmm... my favorite would be the one on the bottom left. I actually enjoy all of them, and I'm sure you would look great in either 1!

i thnk the purple one is the most flattering, like on the body. forget the tan :)

I have one like the one on the top right but I've never actually worn it outside. I think it's so cute though. Especially for coachella, it'd be the absolute best.

that purple one is ok...but i still like bikini more.

Ah, the one peice. Perfect for the pool [and perfectly in style]
But im afraid im more of a surf girl, and dont usually wear them so there is no advice to give really other than be confident and work it! :) x

i am also a fan of the onesies, and actually rocked a cut out white one last summer.

I have the cutout one in the bottom left corner (in teal). I love it! You can but a skirt or some shorts over it, layer some necklaces and create a whole look. Then, take all the extras off and dive into the pool. Definitely worth the $45.

I like the top left one, so cute and you could pair it with a pair of cut off jean shorts. Coachella will be fun and HOT HOT HOT.

I love all of the AA swimsuits and actually tried all of them on last summer. But unfortunately none of them fit me right, they all looked horrible on me >.<
