according to fashion indie, target is launching a collaborative collection with sami hayek (selma hayak’s brother) for ‘back to school,’ an exclusive limited-edition collection by the designer that includes bedding, furniture and stationery. the products range in price from 99 cents for a mini composition book to $149.99 for an office desk. the question is; who knew that sami hayek is a designer? check out his full collection online.i love the idea of a ‘back to school’ collection. i mean, who doesnt want fab furntiture during all phases of our lives? its seems sort of silly to splurge in college or on your first few apartments on furniture when you are just starting to figure out where you are going. im totally into a minimal commitment on affordable and fresh looking furniture (minus the whole furniture falling apart after a few months issue which has happened to me with an ikea dresser but thats another story. i guess you get what you pay for!).
