GenArt brought LA fashion together for the Fresh Faces in Fashion event and it was bananas. Set on the rooftop of the automotive museum, the champagne bars were in place, the accessory booths were overflowing, the fashion show was cool and the people watching was out of control. The show was hosted by Mandy Moore and premiered the freshest faces in LA fashion including Maxine Dillon, Nanushka, PEONIE (swimwear), Quail, WAYF, K.Z.O. and Wayne Hadly. I have to note that quite a few of the designers soundtracks included songs from Lykke Li which put a huge smile on my face.
We ran into Jerell Scott from Project Runway and did a brief interview which you can catch on Shira Lazar's Pop Report (video player in upper right hand corner). I'm sad that he isn't in the top 3 but that boy is going places.
Shira (left), Victoria (right) and I had a little too much fun kyting and taking pics from the black carpet but I guess that's to be expected when you put 3 bloggers together. Blogging is seriously changing our social skills and the world one girl at a time.
The official kick off for LA Fashion week is tomorrow so lots more to come along with some potentially really exciting news. Keep your fingers crossed!

Is Jerell as cool as I think he is? He seems like a really fun person to hand around with.
I was a bit disappointed he wasn't in the top three, but he is super talented. So cool that you got to interview him! I'll have to check that video out!
