Last Thursday Deb and I went to the W Hotel for the GenArt Fresh Faces in Fashion LA Launch Party which was fuuunnnn. They introduced the designers for this years Fresh Faces in Fashion LA Fashion show:
Womenswear Designers: Maxine Dillon,Nanushka, PEONIE (swimwear), Quail, WAYF
Menswear Designers: K.Z.O., Wayne Hadly
Accessory Designers: Azature, Jerome C. Rousseau, Laura Kranitz, POSSO
I hung out with Azature (pictured) for a while whose line is BANANAS! He let me play with all his jewelry and as you would imagine it was hard to hand over all the diamonds when we were done. Sigh. Every piece is hotter than the next, you could die. Big hugs and kisses to you AZ.
Tickets are still available for GenArt's fashion show so don't miss out! I went last year and was beyond impressed, I can't wait to see what the fresh faces of LA fashion 2008 has to offer.

Jenn/Knight-Cat, thank you! I use a serious combo of products. I tend to break out so I'm an avid user of Proactiv face wash and for the on spot action I use Retin A and duac at night. Makeup wise I swear by youngbloods(http://www.ybskin.com/images/logo.gif) concealer and mineral foundation, these 2 items are miracle workers!

My partner in crime couldn't get a ticket, so I'm venturing out alone but am looking forward to recognizing lots of faces in the crowd. Plus I finally get to wear a totally absurd pair of shoes I've been saving....
