The Chanel events at decadestwo last night called for pearls and serious self control. Two large rooms overflowing with hundreds of vintage Chanel pieces, that may be worth repeating, hundreds of vintage Chanel pieces, in mint condition, it was surreal. Tweeds, quilted bags, beaded dresses, patent toed shoes and all other sorts of luxuries from the Parisian fashion house vulnerably awaiting new owners. Unfortunately I was not going to take anything home with me and even though the Chanel boots gave me puppy dog eyes I had to walk away, it was torture. The sale is open to the public starting today. I'm a size 36 in shoes, just sayin.
