christian louboutin skips the models, opts for 18th century art.

The Loubi house has teamed up with one of the most wanted still life photographers, Peter Lippmann, and brought the red soled shoes into 18th century inspired art pieces for their fall/winter campaign.

Pure gennnius.

I really like that he hasn't used models for this campaign..it really showcases the stunning shoes. The 18th- century art concept is very fresh (oxymoron??)

Gorgeous stuff, and the fact that he opted for advertising his shoes in such an unconventional, sophisticated way will generate even more buzz!
