I love how funky they are - now if only I looked good in round shades!...
I think it's the clean lines. With all the rips and tears going on right now, there needs to be some simplicity to balance it out. I love the look - it's retro in more of an indirect way. The article mentioned goggles, which describes the vibe I'm getting much more than updated Lennon. I love your examples btw!

i'm going out and buying a pair of heart shaped frames tonight...
so i think its not just circular, its fun sunglasses in general
i read that article a few days back, i thought it was pretty good. im still trying to figure out a way to get round glasses to work for me.
i saw this in the NYT, thought the same thing as you. and yesss, i working on a new reality show pilot!! i probably shouldn't be saying this in a comment huh? :) ill be back to ca a lot though...and im sure you might go out to ny, so lets play coast to coast! x
