ooh...so much to work with here:
my thoughts are:
1. shorten the sleeves to 3/4 length
2. maybe, even shorten the length of the jacket, itself (3-4 inches)
3. remove the buttons and relace with something silver or at least more "current"
4. wear with the skinniest denim and sheer white tee and whatever shoe you are feeling that night!!
oh yeah..and pop that collar!!

definitely mj (WAY past borderline - LOL), but that only makes it more appealing. The rest of the outfit would have to be very plain. VERY plain.

ok..im currently studyin fashion right now and in 6 months im gonna have a fashion show comin and MICHAEL JACKSON IS MY THEME/MUSE!ive done quite research n stuff and seen the best n the worst mj inspired clothes...but here is my verdict....I DONT GET IT.YEAH i dont get it...first it looks like a pilot's jacket that's been sequined all over and doesn't look military that much for me....the one that bugs me most is the sequins sewn onto the jacket!ok the sequins are multi-coloured,which is blue black with a greenish hue under the light..now to me THAT is SCREAMING "LOOK,NOTICE,TOUCH & GRAB ME!!!"...ive seen high fashion house attempt at creating mj inspired clothes but they never look odd to me,even when they put male models in SEQUINNED GOLDEN PANTS n jacket!i think the jacket is too much,multi-coloured sequins,gold trimming,too-structured cut aka pilot but not military...ok even if u dont wanna look like mj,i still dont like the jacket...looks like too costumy!sorry,truth bites!
