When I think of socks and open toe sandals the usual image that pops into mind is one of a touristy middle aged man. He mildly resembles Peter Griffin, his uniform consists of Teva's and tube socks, shorts that show a tad too much leg and a thick khaki photographers vest over a Hawaiian print shirt. Totally your fashion dream guy, the Ken to Malibu Barbie.
Thankfully that image was put on hold when Christopher Bailey sent socks and heels down the Burberry Prorsum runway. T'was love at first introduction, like the first time you tasted Ben and Jerry's or fast forwarded through commercials on Tivo. Not only was it love, it was a solution to that dilemma we all run into now and again: desperately needing a pedicure but wanting to wear that perfect sandal.

Mineral washed deni's (especially in cornflower blue) are as easy to live in as your favorite boyfriend or skinny jeans, trust. I have separation anxiety on days I don't wear them, jokkes.

I've been trying to get down on the ones and twos but am so bad! Regardless, it's fun and semi-recession friendly. You know what else is fun, coming up with dj names. As of late I'm going by 'Tyrone Shoelace.' Love it, leave it?

I love experiencing an artists vision through an alternative format other than what they've acquainted us with, sheds new light on their creative abilities. Can you imagine a Kanye painting, a Karl Lagerfeld hit song, a Banksy poem book, Mozart's ready to wear collection, Pollock's interior design? Would be epic.

I get it, I get it, I realllllllllly get, I mean, I own a bajillion cheap pairs of trendy sunglasses but for serious, my eyes, my eyes hurt in sunlight. Not only do they hurt but I tear up and the next thing you know mascara skid marks line my cheeks.
Love cheap shades and alllllll but I need glasses that actually protect my eyes, I'm talking grade A UVA protection baby.
Any suggestions other than Ray-Bans, Blue Blockers and these bad boys? I'm currently into the idea of these Grey Ant's.

Bib necklaces are rocking my neck world. Big old statement pieces really turn around any boring outfit, especially when they are extra large and/or textured like so.
This necklace reminds me of spaghetti and the idea of food around the neck reminds me of candy neckalces. I can't help but wonder...what ever happened to those?
PS - all I literally wear is a huge necklace laying gently on a vintage tee accompanied by skinnies/a black mini/trousers. I reallllllllllllllly need to switch things up before I fall into a fashion life crisis.
