Wearing Funktional blazer, LNA riding pants, Sam Edelman Zoe Boots, Bijules bar ring.
Inspired by all of MJ's blazers in 'This Is It' (soooooooo good, must see in the theater) I've been rocking the shit out of this blazer from Nasty Gal. Pointy shoulders and velvet, check and check!

Parisian designers Simon Pillard and Philippe Rosetti took a bold approach with their kitchen by buying a basic IKEA kitchen island and covering it with more than 20,000 Lego pieces. Yes, twenty thousand of those tiny plastic things!
How they had the patience is beyond me but how rad.

Don't you just want to touch those cray cray boots?

The ubiquitous yet very hard to find Acne Atacoma's and Burberry Biker boots have long lost twins both of which are named Jeffrey Campbell. The exclusive limited editions of the Alexa Wedge Booties and Poland Lace-up Bootie are only going to be available at LF stores.
Almost afraid to ask this but...where does everyone stand on the idea of blatant copies?

Wearing a Geren Ford dress, Bebe jacket, vintage necklaces, YSL heels, Carla Mancini bag, sunglasses from the Madewell and Lucky Magazine party the night before.
While hunting for leather paneled riding pants at Bebe on Saturday I ran into a bomber jacket sale rack - 69 bucks later this gray buttery greatness was mine and I immediately put it to good use. It is one of those "fool people" pieces. Nobody believes that it isn't leather and they seem surprised to hear it's from Bebe. I'm a firm believer that you can find gems anywhere and let's stop hating on Bebe friends, they have some great pieces and big plans. One of my bff's was on the design team and from the details to the fit she has done such a wonderful job. I'm so proud of you, Z!
Last night we went to the Rachel Pally pop up, grubbed at Terroni then headed to the Tea Room. Beside chanting "beauty is pain" it's still unclear how my feet lasted all night in the Tribs. A friend shared that gel pads make a world of a difference. Can anyone else testify? Any other shoe pain alleviating secrets? My little toes thank you kindly in advance, all 1o of them!

Hiiiii YSL arty ovale ring, hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

One little faux fur collar purchase and voilà! Your everyday blazer channels Balenciaga and is like new!

Designers and retailers often email me looking for advice on girls and the internet. "How can we tap into the blog world?" they want to know and I always suggest one very basic tactic: produce relevant editorials and/or lookbooks that people will want to pass around.
My friends from LF just sent over their latest lookbook and it is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. I mean, the second I saw it I had to post and not just that but now I NEED a leather jacket with fringe lined sleeves because how amazing will that move to the beat? Plus, how perfectly inspirational is the shopping cart shot (wow, say that fast 5 times, shoppingcartshot, shoppingcartshot, shloppingsnchobleart, mehhhhh) for bloggers who avoid the 'cross your legs, look down' outfit post pose?
You can see the rest of the fall 09 lookbook here. I heart you LF!

We went to see La Roux last night and lalalet me tell you, t'was excellent. The dance party was not optional and everyone got down like kiddies in a candy store.
Nothing sets me free the way music and a dance party can. Justcantgetenough.
