Trapeze tops are so right now and I'm kind of obsessed. This one comes in black, white and mocha. I'm thinking black. I know, I'm so boring.
Thoughts?

Psssssst, calling all nail polish connoisseurs - this fall OPI is embarking on a European tour and its first stop is Switzerland!
"From the spiky peaks of the Alps to the chateaus of Lucerne the famous Bern bears, the rooftop of Europe was the inspiration for the 12 decadent shades that make up the ubiquitous nail lacquer's Fall 2010 color collection."
The cheeky shade names call to mind Swiss mainstays, like Glitzerland, a cool gold, Yodel Me on My Cell, a deep blue, Diva of Geneva, a vibrant pink red, and Color So Hot it Berns, a warm red.
The new collection will be available in August 2010 and will retail for $8.50 each.
Done and done.

Making this salad was inspired by 2 things: Martha Stewart's July 2007 issue and Shakuhachi's spring/summer 2010 collection (pictured). Obviously.
Both the dish and the collection are organic and light, laid back yet put together. They are transitional from the beach to a girls lunch and above all, they're mad fresh.
How to: Avocado, Shrimp, and Endive Salad
You will need:
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
Freshly ground pepper, to taste
2 medium Belgian endives, leaves separated, larger ones cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces (about 3 cups)
20 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 1/2 ripe Hass avocados, halved, pitted, peeled, and cut lengthwise into 1/2-inch-thick slices
1 tablespoon coarsely chopped fresh tarragon
*serves 4

But with Mickey!
p.s. loving the beaded bracelets. Art project?

Wearing a scarf I bought in Moscow, gifted Lanston tank, vintage hat, Chanel bag.
My roomie and I got a little trigger happy at the Vans-Stussy shindig - click, click. Any party is a fun party if there is a photo booth!
When we move out of the place we're in now I'm gonna set up a little photo booth. That and a couch for everyone to scribble on. #Dreaaaaamz!

Just got home from hanging out with Monica who was carrying this Alexander Wang bag in black. Guys, it's like butter. Even if you have no interest in buying it please just go out and touch it. Be one with Wang.

“Salmon with quinoa, please.”
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve regurgitated those four words at M Cafe.
In spite of my friend Tali’s opinion, “That shit is overpriced rabbit food,” I love my M. It’s light and healthy which leaves me food-coma-less for those remaining and often painful six to ten hours of work. The veggie burger is so good that it may just persuade Guy Fieri to pull out of all those Drive-ins, and the sushi isn’t bad either. It is macrobiotic, the bathrooms are clean, outfit inspiration is high and there is a guaranteed celeb spotting (take that as a pro or con as you wish).
Even with all that M has to offer, Tali has a point: it is in fact overpriced.
I made fives times the amount of red quinoa for the price of one large M side. FIVE TIMES THE AMOUNT! AND I had bragging rights!
Now making quinoa is totally my new thing. It is a nutritious, trainer approved grain that is the perfect side dish to compliment any protein. And with a little imagination and pantry surfing you can make countless variations. I’m thinking nuts and cranberries for my next batch.
The best part: it cooks itself in a rice cooker.
How to: Quinoa
You will need:
1 cup Quinoa (I used red quinoa)
2 cups kitchen basics vegetable stock or water
1/3 cup red pepper, small dice
1/3 cup yellow pepper, small dice
1/3 cup green pepper, small dice
1 small vidalia onion, small dice
