I'll never forget the first time I met Sara Cooper. I was 16, visiting my friend Amalia at summer school in Boston and "Scoop" was her super stylish friend from NYC who she couldn't wait for me to meet "because she had really cool ripped jeans."
We met and Scoop became my ultimate fashion girl crush - if blogs existed back then, and she had one, I would have stalked it. Instead, I emulated the few looks of hers I captured that muggy summer and cut up many of my jeans - one pair of which I wore for the very first day of my senior year.
Now she is a top stylist in NYC, of course, and has a line of really rad collars that are sold at Barney's New York, Madison Ave (7th Floor), of course. I told you - girl crush! Her handcrafted collars are also available at SCOOP and Kaia Peterka.
