  1. I agree about the subtle hint of skin…too much belly is just not good or looks like you’re trying too hard. My fav is the girl with the leather jacket and skirt.

  2. I loooooooove crop tops! My favorite is with the pair of jeans. I love a good crop top with a good pair of jeans or with a big flirty skirt!

BRB gotta go do some more sit-ups 😉

  3. I love 2nd outfit. Love it because it’s cassual and you can rock that look every day. I loved it also because of high waisted jeans (my favorite), and that’s my favorite combo (crop top + high waisted jeans ar skirt). xx

  4. I love 2nd outfit. Love it because it’s cassual and you can rock that look every day. I loved it also because of high waisted jeans (my favorite), and that’s my favorite combo (crop top + high waisted jeans or skirt). xx

  5. Love the matching skirt/top co-ord! Been dying to try this look but haven’t wanted to invest in this trend…I’d be stoked to win one!

  6. I like wearing crop tops with high wasted pants and skirts. It feels fun but not too revealing for my own personal comfort. Plus, I’m super short and I like how the exposed high wasted bottoms make my legs look longer 🙂

  7. My favorite way from the article is with the amazing coat. It always can be a little chilly from time to time but I don’t want to give up my crop top right away because of the cold. The look of wearing it with the coat is relaxing, can be changeable to sexier look once you put the coat down and it is very good looking.

  8. I used to hate crop tops and just associate them with Britney Spears a la “Not Yet a Woman,” but there are getting to be so many cool cropped looks that skip the side of trashy. From the Yahoo article, I like the jeans look, but I’m loving the sweatshirt/mirrored skirt/blue boots look from your lineup!

  9. I love crop tops and often wear them to work. Of course, I pair them with high waited bottoms to avoid showing too much skin.
However, from the Yahoo! article I liked the 1st look with jeans the best.
(frankly speaking I think your set of pictures is much more entertaining that the Yahoo ones 🙂

  10. Crop tops are so freaking adorable. I love “1. For a comfortable, weekend vibe, the crop top can be worn with an open coat and leggings or form-fitted sweatpants that will get you from point A to point B with ease and comfort.”

  11. I love when crop tops are paired with high-waisted pants (as to not be too revealing) ~ #2 in the Yahoo Style guide. A great way to wear crops (in appropriate way) for anyone who’s nervous about showing too much skin. I think this look shortens the midsection & lengthens the leg! Love…

  12. I love the 2nd look with the highwaist denim. Something that I actually do a lot myself! I always pair a crop with a higher waist bottom. A sliver of midriff skin is sexy but still classy

  13. I have to say that my favorite way to rock a crop top is for a fun night out! I first shattered my fears of going cropped when I spotted a neon crop top and knew that it was key to completing one of my outfits during my bachelorette weekend (neon AND a crop top? Haha what can I say, I took a big risk!)

Obviously, partying alongside my best gfs was the perfect way to ease myself into and find confidence in the trend. I think the Elizabeth & James crop top with its long sleeves is the perfect way to continue wearing my crop tops for nights out but will also push me to try the more demure daytime crop top look too! I have a feeling I’ll be the master of the crop in no time.

  14. All those looks make me *swoon* but I’m totally a high-waisted jeans kind of girl (#2). Love love love the looks you posted too!!!

  15. Since I love everything leather related, love the way crop top styled with leather culottes and heels. I do have a pair of leather culottes myself so the number 3 option really gives me a bit inspiration here. So chic and cool.

  16. In love with the turtleneck crop top with the midi skirt, and the heels are just perfection. The entire look is monochromatic sophistication at its best.

  17. I am definitely into Mira Duma’s look – the print and the flattering cut of both pieces makes it feminine with a hint of daytime playfulness showing the midriff. perfect for a late summer outfit (dreaming of this now, in freezing NYC!)
