Holy shit, I think I’m in love with
Diane von Furstenberg’s new creative director, Yvan Mispelaere. The Frenchman most recently headed up the women’s design studio at Gucci, and earlier this decade he worked under Phoebe Philo at Chloé. Gahhhhh.

For the duo’s first collection together they dove into the house’s vast archives, which includes some 10,000 prints, and resurfaced with a bold selection. Inspired by the Ballet Russes, the collection was Signature DVF, but magnified with intense colors, brazen prints and nonchalant silhouettes.

“Diane told me that these are just like the clothes she wore when she was a princess.” – Yvan Mispelaere

  1. wow everything is so consistent, but twisted at the same time. I’m not sure if I like the prints yet, but I think I might finding myself liking it later. Kinda like a song. haha
