spring 2013 trends to try now

90’s denim! If Rebecca Taylor, 3.1 Phillip Lim and See by Chloé have anything to say about it then spring is all about rocking a great pair of slouchy 90’s denim. Try a pair of light washed jeans like these for a classic, cool look.

Retro bra tops. Peter Som and Richard Chai showed us how to rock a mean casual bra for next Spring. Here’s a perfect top to pair with a high waisted pencil skirt.

Layers of soft, white, draped silhouettes.
Layers of soft, white, draped silhouettes were seen at Thakoon and Prabal Gurung’s Spring shows but lucky for us designers have been sheer genius for seasons now.  Especially
Helmut Lang.

Oversized nylon windbreakers. Oversized nylon windbreakers were popping off the runway at Fashion week (hiiii Rag & Bone). See ya later 80’s, hello 2013! And tons of them are available on eBay – like this one.

Cut outs. Prabal, Wang and Lim were all about the peek-a-boo proving that cut-outs are the new cleavage! Keep it formfitting and sporty with something like this Alexander Wang dress from a few seasons ago.

Full Skirts. Full skirts are in for Spring (cue: Creatures of the Wind, Thakoon and Prabal Gurung).  I love the idea of this mustard number with a great pair of platforms.

  2. My favorite is the all white…its my warm weather uniform! You can't go wrong! All the trends are gorgeous, but I am just partial to white. I wonder how some of these trends will end up in interiors.
