Hellllllo 11,000-square-foot Mercer Island home designed by Kelly Wearstler!
This equal parts Parisian jewel box, scholar’s retreat, and natural wonder has so many incredible details that it can almost make your head pop off: A brass (brass!!!) kitchen. A double-height library. Marble on marble on marble (literally). Wallpapered ceilings. Hand painted giant patterns of concentric rings splashed across the guestroom walls. A music room lined with pages scribbled by the likes of Beethoven and Mahler. Purple venetian glass chandeliers. Not one but two custom brass spiral staircases. A snakeskin-and-brass console. Paris flea market finds. More light fixtures than one can count. Art Deco furniture. An art filled salon. And the details go on and on and on.
GENIUS.

It is obvious that Kelly was born in the wrong era. She would fit right in to the 1920's. Love her style, Art Deco is my favourite period
