I’m always looking for special little things to brighten up my home and this week I came across two new favorites:
1. Reclaimed Apothecary Matchstick Bottle by Jen Pearson – small bottle $16, large $22.
I spotted these adorable bottles of matches over the weekend at Lawson-Fenning and couldn’t resist buying them – a couple to post next to candles at home and a few to have on hand for hostess presents (I also stock Terroni’s Peperoncini Piccanti and their olive oil and – both are always big hits).
2. Diptyque Scented Ovals (my favorite scents are Baies and Figuier) – $45.
I’ve loved Diptyque candles for years but somehow haven’t really explored the line beyond their wax. Luckily the lovely ladies from Walk In My Closet turned me onto their scented ovals which you can hang in your closet or put in a drawer. I hung mine in my closet and it is so incredibly fragrant that it lingers throughout my bedroom and I’ve noticed hints of the scent on my clothes.

I just spied these matches on another website, Hudson Grace, a few days ago! They are très chic, I want to pick some up for myself and they would definitely make a great gift!
