In my wedding research I came across the idea of using vintage rugs as a way to create an aisle while also maintaining a bohemian and laid back vibe. Layered on top of one another or linearly, I love the way the rugs introduce texture, pattern and color into the decor.
What are your thoughts on the idea?
Using vintage rugs is a great way to create an aisle at your wedding ceremony and maintain a bohemian and laid back vibe. Layered one atop the other or linearly, this can be a great way to introduce texture, pattern and color into the decor for your big day! These rugs can be rented from boutique rental companies or as a cost saving alternative re-purposed from your own home or found for a deal at your local flea market! – See more at: http://blog.twofoldla.com/#sthash.gVUtbrvF.dpuf

This is lovely, looks so much more original than a plain strip of carpet!

Love the application as shown in all the pictures!! I can’t visualize it in a traditional church setting but wouldn’t it be fun if they started coloring those large runners in various patterns for brides to incorporate into their color theme rather than boring red??!!! :). YES!!
Perfect inspo for my wedding next year!
