Looking for a last-minute holiday party treat? This holiday sangria by Aliza Sokolow is easy to make, festive and has just the right amount of sweetness. Package it up for a more creative hostess gift than a simple botle of wine, or serve it at your own for a high-impact alcohol offering.
Here’s how to make it and as always, you can watch a video on this recipe here:
Ingredients:
3 green apples, sliced
3 pears, sliced into bite-sized pieces
1 lemon
1 lime
3 tbsp sugar
3 shots calvados
1 cup cranberries
1 bottle dry white wine
Soda water
Instructions:
- In a large pitcher, add: apples, pears, lemon, lime, sugar, calvados, cranberries and dry white wine.
- Let chill for 2-3 hours in the fridge.
- Top with soda water and serve with lots of fruit!
