Healthy Foodies To Follow On Instagram

Following a well-curated feed with an eclectic mix of account types is what makes scrolling through Instagram so much fun! And for me, some of my favorites to follow are the foodies. Pretty photos aside (although they are realllllly pretty) I find loads of recipe inspiration on the gram—all of which I save to a collection dedicated solely to food. Whenever I’m in a cooking slump, it’s the first place I go.

Here are some of the foodies that I love to follow:

This plant-based Instagram account is one of the prettiest in my feed, not to mention she has the cutest little pup, EVER! Her fruit-lined smoothies cups, stunning bowls and creativity is an absolute delight that continues to inspire me not only to eat healthy but to eat beautifully.

This food stylist is responsible for one of my favorite summertime cookbooks: N’ice Cream: 80+ Recipes for Healthy Homemade Vegan Ice Creams. After making a good dozen ice cream recipes from the book, I searched IG to find its creator and poof!, there she was with a beautiful feed made up of mostly frozen delightful-ness like smoothies, frozen bars, and you guessed it, ice cream!

What’s Gaby Cookin
One may argue that I’m a little biased on this one because we’re pretty good friends, but can you blame me? Her feed is packed with the tastiest looking dishes and she’s a queen at sharing recipes on Stories or Snapchat in a way that makes cooking feel way less intimidating.

Barrett Prendergast is one of those girls that you can’t help but love, and that’s reflected in her stunning feed which is a combination of recipes, her gift box business and adorable son, Costa. Her and her son make smoothies together just about every morning which is not only adorable but a great resource for endless smoothie inspiration. Besides smoothies, her general approach to cooking is effortless and easy which are two things that I appreciate.

Alison Wu
A recipe developer and health/wellness lifestyle blogger based in Portland, her feed straight up makes me hungry. She manages to get the most perfect frosted berries (mine definitely don’t look like that – I’ve tried, but #GOALS!) to top her smoothies with, mixes together the healthiest of bowls and shares her dreamy baths complete with crystals and flower petals.
