For those of you who caught this article, you know that I recently improved my sleep habits in a serious way. By that I mean, I’m doing my absolute best to stick to a nighttime routine that gets me in bed by 11 p.m. (hard, but doable!), and I’ve been setting my alarm for around 6:30 a.m. every day. No more staying up crazy late on the weekends and sleeping even later. The weekends were an adjustment, but there’s something about being up and at ‘em with a whole Saturday ahead of you—instead of waking up at noon.
The changes I’ve felt have been major. I really feel great. But since I know sleep is a pain point for a lot of people, I wanted to discusses it in this week’s challenge. Specifically, by trying the product that helped me change my own habits.
Challenge: Sleep with a Beautyrest Sleeptracker Monitor
If you didn’t read this post, the Beautyrest Sleeptracker monitor is exactly what it sounds like—it’s a device that tracks your sleep—and so much more. Unlike wearables, it sits in between your mattress and the foundation and tells you a ton of info about your night’s sleep, sleep habits, sleep patterns, etc. More specifically, breathing rate, heart rate, REM sleep, personalized sleeping tips, and so on.
From there, you can analyze where in the night you need to make adjustments—and what those adjustments should be. For me, that was obtaining a consistent sleep routine. Perhaps you’ll learn more about your breathing habits and when you get your best/worst sleep. The device takes your results and gives you useful ways to improve based on your stats. All right to your phone! Amazing, yea?
So this week, I challenge you to invest in your sleep, which ultimately is an investment in yourself.

I totally agree that it’s an amazing feeling to wake up on weekends and have the entire day ahead of you! Sleeping in until noon always makes me feel so sluggish and like I’ve wasted so much time. The Beautyrest Sleep Tracker sounds really cool!

Oh man, I’ve really got to start sleeping early. Just last night I went to bed at 4:00am… so I woke at midday! I felt like I was wasting so much time!

Hello,
Got to say that I love this post and I can totally relate to your experience. In my case, I tend to count the number of hours I get to sleep in and that makes me feel more at ease. I’m gonna check this app out! 🙂
