When approached by Tiffany and AOL StyleList to collaborate on the launch of Tiffany’s new lovey dovey site, www.whatmakeslovetrue.com they asked, “what makes love true to you?” The question inspired some self exploration. As I bobbed on a boat for the better part of my July 4th weekend getaway, no matter where my thoughts (and seasickness!) took me, I was always brought back to the same conclusion: what makes love true to me is that it is unconditional.

And now I turn the question over, what makes true love for you?

    Ok, I think true love can't be summed up in one statement, I think it's a lot of things:
    It's unconditional, it spans the globe and time. It's when you are the best you can be with that person, and vice versa. It's when you can see yourself with that person 60 years down the road, and the thought brings a smile to your face.

    It's when you'll willingly share the perfect bite of chocolate cake that you had been saving for last.

  9. I just bought a pair of red cutoffs and haven't taken them off since my purchase. I looove this outfit because it's simple and totally realistic.

    For me, love is all about patience, understanding, commitment and friendship. Every loving relationship I have has all of those elements–friends, family and boyz alike.

    As for true love, I agree with the necessity for "patience, understanding, commitment and friendship". I think true love is demonstrated through sacrifice, and can only exist between true best friends. Its loving someone's faults and getting through the thick of it together that matters. The thin is the easy part…

  23. my dad passed away a couple months ago now and i always knew that my mom and him had true love, but what really makes it for her is when she even looks at the color orange (his favorite color) or sees a picture of the beach, she thinks of him and her eyes tear up. that's how i know they were truly in love no matter what happened, and she still is in love with him.
