3 Snapchats To Follow

I don’t know about you but I for one am REALLY into Snapchat.  I love seeing what other peoples lives are actually like. There’s no editing or prepping the perfectly staged photo or video accompanied by a perfectly witty caption.  It’s raw and it’s real.

It’s also the social platform in which I’m most comfortable sharing because you don’t need to over-think it. Whatever it is that you posted will be gone in 24 hours anyway so why not have fun with it?

When I first started, I felt an avalanche of inspiration.  I don’t talk in my youtube videos, my blog is a curation of my taste and Insta gives me a lot of anxiety. Snapchat was my chance to let people in.  When I started I was in the thick of my wedding planning and eagerly shared every step of the way including the actual wedding day itself. Yes, I even had someone snap me walking down the aisle! Sharing the REAL version of what was one of the biggest days of my life was incredible and the response was insane – thousands tuned in.

Now I share my intense workouts, my attempt at living the healthiest and most positive life possible and of course, general antics of an LA girl. I wake up excited to share on it every single day. If you’re not following me, you should! Username: gerihirsch.

Here are 3 accounts I really love to follow:

-Caroline Vreeland (username: cvxx): Great granddaughter of Diana Vreeland, HARPER’S BAZAAR editor-in-chief from 1936-1962, Caroline is a drop dead gorgeous fashion fixture trying to make it in the music world.  She’s dating a model who she is constantly harassing with Snapchat and it’s truly like watching a really good reality show.

-Kate Albrecht (username: mrkate): Mr. Kate is a HUGE personality and she’s an over-sharer in the best way possible. She’s a natural comedian and cracks me up all day long as she talks about pretty much everything. Her creativity is infectious and her ability to openly share will inspire you to up your Snapchat game.

-Gaby Dalkin (username: whatsgabycookin): Gaby is a food blogger who is incredibly passionate about what she does. When she’s not giving you the play by play on how to make what she’s making for dinner she’s sharing all the crazy foods she’s trying. It’s essentially vicarious eating.

Looking for more? I also like these 5: realsheamarie (who knew this fashion blogger was so funnyy?), LACMA_museum (one of my favorite museums whose snappy creativity is awesome), Dabttll (each of her snaps is a true piece of art – go see what I mean), ispydiy (this girl is a burst of positivity in your feed) and hannahbgood (workout inspo!).

Who do you like to follow? Would love to know in the comments.

    *Sorry if this posted twice!

  5. Yvan Rodic of Facehunter (mrfh) is very interesting to follow on Snapchat. Don’t know if you already know him (you probably do) but he basically travels ALL THE TIME (nothing compared to other people who claim that they travel a lot) and hangs out with the coolest crowds in every country he visits. He also ‘interviews’ these locals about their country/culture/city and he shows what life is like in these countries. So its perfect for wanderlust, culture and fashion (and sometimes annoying screaming but you just click through that 😉 )

  6. Snapchat is really cool, i had some difficulty first to understand the concept… but now i love it to share silly pictures with friend. Another big point, their augmented reality filters… they bring us a really cool tool to play!
