Here’s the thing about whipping up a great smoothie: just about anything goes. The key is having the right combination of ingredients to get the perfect consistency over and over again and for that, I have the ultimate formula:
Non-Dairy Silk Milk Base + Frozen Banana + Leafy Greens + Fruit + Superfood
With this formula, you can make a great smoothie time and time again. Simply plug in the blanks with your favorites and get blending. You can adjust the quantities as needed but as a rough rule I like 1/2-2 cups of Silk milk (I love almond, soy or cashew milk or their non-dairy yogurt), 2/3 of frozen banana, 2-3 handfuls of leafy greens, 2-3 handfuls of fruit and 1/2-1 tablespoon of superfood (flax seed, acai or cacao, etc.).
Watch the video to see the formula in action and to give the formula a go, here is a delicious spring smoothie recipe for you:
The Mango Bliss
You will need:
1/2-3/4 cups Silk Almond Milk
2/3 of frozen banana
1 handful of kale
1 handful of spinach
1 handful of frozen mango
1 handful of frozen strawberries
1/2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
Toss all ingredients to your blender, combine and enjoy!

Yum! This looks delicious! Do you think if we do half dairy half orange juice it’ll still deliver same taste with more fruity flavor?
This looks delicious, my go to smoothie is always banana and strawberries (with almond milk and maca powder)! Not normally a kale fan but I guess it would taste different in a smoothie, I’ll give it a go.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm!xo
This is the exact smoothie I make, except sub the strawberries for half a banana for some creaminess 🙂
Hi Geri!
I am a smoothie junkie!! I love them because I can eat most of my veggies and fruits at one sitting first thing in the morning! I can hear my mom’s famous words, don’t forget to eat your vegetables, she would always pronounce every single day! I love the ingredients for the Mango bliss! I just discovered the frozen mangos at Trader Joe’s and they are great for grazing in the pm!

Spinach with strawberries? I’m a bit afraid to try it. But definitely, it’s healthy. I’ll turn on the blender! 🙂
Finally got on the smoothie train last week when I bought a blender. The mango bliss recipe sounds good! I’m excited to try it out.
