I’ve already shared my obsession with blending lately, and as we move further into December, the trend continues. From slow mornings full of a messy kitchen, to chilly nights with warm food on the stove, cooking in general has been a great way to slow down this season. And to feed me and my hubby of course!
I’m a smoothie lover year-round (it’s such a simple way to get tons of nutrients), so Darin and I actually make one pretty much every day. Especially during the holidays when clean eating isn’t always as easy when out of the house. Our recent fave is a delish (and not to mention gorg) Pitaya smoothie.
All you need is a handful of healthy ingredients, a KitchenAid® Pro Line® Series Blender (which I’m totally obsessed with – it blends better than any product I’ve round, and v. fast), and a few minutes of love!
Recipe: Pitaya Antioxidant Smoothie
Grab:
1 frozen pitaya pack
1 banana
¼ cup frozen mango
Large handful of spinach
1 tsp acai powder
1 tsp collagen (optional)
1 tbsp cashew vanilla nut butter
1.5 cups coconut milk, coconut water or almond milk
Make:
Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
Cheers!

YUM!
I could really use a healthy packed smoothie right about now, the holiday party struggle is real!
How is that blender compared to the Bullet for smoothies?
It sounds so delicious. Pitaya is my favorite. I hope I still could find it in the supermarket to try this recipe. I’m very lazy to drink water in winter, smoothie and juice will save me.
Thank you for sharing the recipe!
The antioxidant is crucial for strong immunity. This delicious smoothie is a good combination of taste and immunity boost.
