Pucker up! In honor of Valentine’s Day, I thought it only felt appropriate to put together a short and sweet guide all about smooth, beautiful, non-toxic lips.

From exfoliating products to masks, chapstick and balms and last but not least, lipsticks, here is my clean beauty guide to smooth lips:

French Girl Rose Lip Polish

This lip scrub is a dream! A combination of organic shea butter, coconut oil, sugar, mint & rose geranium essential oils, it gently removes dry skin and leaves your lips feeling supple and hydrated. And it takes a minute or so to use. Simply massage a pea-sized amount onto damp lips then rinse.

KNC Collagen Infused Lip Masks

Used after exfoliating with the product above or on its own, these KNC lip masks condition, hydrate and plump. And also make for a good moment on Insta-stories. Am I right?! Made with Rose Flower Oil, Cherry Extract, Vitamin E, Collagen and Hyaluronic acids – they’re free of parabens, sulfates, artificial dyes or fragrances. 20 minutes in one of these bad boys and you’re left with softer, smoother lips.

Rodin Lip Balm

Between the signature scent of jasmine and neroli, and the combo of shea butter and beeswax, this lip balm is so delicious! It gives just the right amount of shine and hydrates beautifully.

Hurraw Coconut Lip Balm

If you’re more of a chapstick person, this one is great! My husband turned me onto it and he is one of those guys who always has chapstick on him. He’s tried them all! It’s available in a handful of scents like lemon, grapefruit, mint, etc. and is formulated with sweet almond oil, coconut oil, cocoa seed butter and all sorts of buttery goodness to deeply hydrate your lips. Way healthier than most chapsticks on the market, or worse, Aquaphor!

And as for lipsticks/colors, some favorite brands that skip the bad stuff:
KOSAS, 100% pure, Ilia, PYT.

Wishing you a Happy Valentine’s Day!

  1. I’ve been OBSESSED with Hurraw for years, so I’m thrilled to see it included here! The coconut is my all time favorite, but the almond is a close second.
