February Clean Beauty Edit

Things I struggled with in February: breakouts, dry scalp/skin and feeling a bit run down from chasing after a one-year-old. HENCE this month’s picks for my clean beauty edit. From a luxurious and nourishing bath, to the miracle products that cured my acne, dandruff and bad hair days, here is what I’ve been reaching for in the clean beauty department:

True Botanicals Clear Pure Radiance Oil

Finding the right products that work for breakouts can be tricky (if you missed it, these are the best acne remedies according to my readers), especially if you want something clean. This product came highly recommended and what I love about the Clear Pure Radiance Oil is that it’s formulated with antioxidants and potent antibacterial ingredients to heal infection while still inducing a luminous glow.

True Botanicals Antioxidant Booster

I add a couple shakes of this to the clear oil above and wake up with clearer, brighter skin. Antioxidants are a MUST for inside-out beauty so it makes sense that a topical antioxidant booster would work skin miracles.

G.Tox Himalayan Salt Scalp Scrub Shampoo

A unique whipped shampoo made of exfoliating mineral-rich Himalayan pink salt, nourishing cold-pressed moringa oil, and pure unfiltered rose hip oil purifies and detoxifies all at once. The scrub cleanses the hair and scalp of product buildup, dirt, and oil, leaving both clean and refreshed. The cleansing scent—rosemary, geranium, orange, and peppermint—lingers subtly in hair and smells amazing!

Herbivore Coconut Sea Mist

If you’re looking for a clean-non-toxic sea salt spray that gives your hair some texture, this is it. I’ve been using it for a few years now and have re-ordered it several times.

Playa Oil

Packed with Apricot, Kukui and coconut oils, this is my go-to hair oil to repair the ends of my hair but also to add in some piece-y texture. You only need a few drops of the weightless elixir and boom!

Primally Pure Flower Bath

At the end of a long day working and chasing around a one-year-old, this mama is ready for a good soak in something that helps my dry skin. This flower bath is skin-softening, soothing and detoxifying. The perfect end to a long day.

  1. I have heard only the best things about True Botanicals. I am starting to try a number of clean beauty products myself. If you are looking for a nice toner, I’d suggest the Indie Lee one. It smells amazing and feel great.
