Back with the second installment of Coffee Talk! A series where I answer some of the most frequently answered questions I get on Instagram. Have a question? Leave it here in the comments and I’ll add it to my list.
Do you ever think about going back to Youtube?
Of course! All the time. I loved having a channel to share recipes, ideas, wellness tips, et al but starting a brand new channel and building it from the ground up feels daunting. Instead, I’ve been trying to bring some more video content to insta-stories and IGTV. Some good ones to watch: the 6-minute eggs, 8 & 8 salmon, my low bun tutorial.
How do you find time for yourself?
Errrrr struggling with this TBH. My primary me-time is from 7pm, when Leo goes down, until I go to sleep which honestly doesn’t feel like much. I have help with Leo three days a week now but work is so hectic that those three days are devoted strictly to it, an occasional errand and workouts (those are the only days I workout outside of trying to get in 10k steps). Any tips on finding time are welcome!
Can you update us on Leo’s diet?
Leo is inching toward 14 months and very busy eating most of the time! We recently went through a period where she protested all of her favorite foods but I think we’re slowly getting back on track. She primarily eats a plant-based diet with tons of beans, veggies, whole grains but also eggs and fish when she likes it (rare!) and dairy like cheese/yogurt. We’re working on integrating a milk alternative to breast milk by trying almond and flax but she hasn’t really taken to either yet. Fingers crossed!

Maybe try goats milk. My nephews had digestive problems and a doctor recommended the milk saying it’s the closest to breast milk. Don’t get any drops on your clothes though, it smells awful.
😘
Thanks for sharing re: almond / flax milk! Always wonder what Liam should have instead of cow’s milk! Do you make yourself? xx
