I could eat avocado toast renditions every single day for the rest of my life and be happy. There are so many fantastic combinations that one could rattle off options in a Bubba Gump shrimping business kind of way but I’ll spare you and focus on this ahi tuna and avocado version.

This is the second avocado toast in our LEAF series with Adrianna from A Cozy Kitchen and it is the bombdotcom (as is her grapefruit and pistachio). Since we shot it, I’ve made it countless times as it’s SO easy and SO delicious and SO perfect for lunch and better than cereal for dinner.

Recipe: Ahi Tuna Avocado Toast

You’ll Need:
– 1 tbsp white miso
– 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
– 1 tbsp rice vinegar
– 2 tbsp sesame oil
– pinch of salt
– 3-5 oz sushi grade tuna
– 1/2 avocado
– black sesame seeds

1. Make dressing: mix white miso, ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil & salt
2. Cube tuna & dice 1/2 avocado
3. Pour dressing & mix
4. Slice french bread lengthwise
5. Place mixture
6. Top with black sesame seeds

  1. This was AMAZING! I was traveling in London when I saw this and had to try it. Unfortunately they didn't have tuna, so I used salmon and it was DELICIOUS!
