Sun’s out, buns out! Bathing suit season is officially here which means it’s time for a little TLC alllll over our bodies. Believe it or not, a coffee body scrub is one of the best things you can do before throwing on that itsy bitsy teenie weenie bikini. The caffeine helps stimulate circulation, fights cellulite, draws out excess moisture, firms, smooths, and tightens skin.
There are lots of variations on coffee body scrubs; some like to add coconut oil, cinnamon, coconut sugar, etc., but I keep it simple with this easy combo. Here’s how to do it:
DIY Coffee Body Scrub
1/2 cup regular ground coffee
1/4 cup Epsom salt
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
Combine all ingredients in a jar then scrub away in the shower.
Beware: It’s really messy!
P.S. Another great skin refresher is dry skin brushing – here’s how to do it.
Very interesting natural solution!

I love coffee scrubs ( i literally just made more the other day). I usually use coconut oil because i have a huge jar of it but i have never added brown sugar i will have to try it.
I made a similar scrub a few months back! Love love love it. You can find my version of it here: http://cuddlepill.com/coffee-coconut-oil-body-scrub/
