I’m pretty sure placing ice cubes under your eyes to de-puff is one of the oldest beauty hacks in the books. As is using tea bags for the same purpose. So, after a facial last week that involved a de-puffing cooling green tea mask, I was inspired to combine the two go-to tricks to help ease seriously swollen eyes following a late-night flight from New York to LA. And the results? A promising reduction in swelling that left my eyes looking fresh and awake. Try it yourself—it’s the easiest thing on the planet:
1. Brew a cup of matcha and pour it in an ice cube tray – freeze.
2. To reduce darkness and swelling, gently press a matcha ice cube against your eyes for about 10 minutes. If the ice cubes get too cold, take a small break. After you have removed the ice cubes from your eyes, pat them dry with towel.
AHHHH!

I had no idea this existed! A few days ago I woke with really swollen eyes which caused me to redo my eyeliner three times. Would’ve been so helpful!
