There are so many things that I love about the winter months, but dry skin is certainly not one of them! I fall victim to slithery scaly skin the moment I slip up on my exfoliating and moisturizing game, so I try to stay on top of it – body, face and lips included.
Besides dry skin brushing, here are three of the exfoliating products I like to leave right in the shower to ensure I don’t skip a beat:
Indie Lee Coconut Citrus Scrub
A few scoops of this a couple of times a week does wonders! A blend of coconut, lemongrass, lemon balm, jojoba and vanilla, it blissfully buffs the skin with the gentle sugar texture and leaves skin silky soft and supple. Bonus: you can use this on your lips, too.
Goldfaden Doctors Scrub
I wrote about this last year and am happy to share that it’s still in my lineup! I try to remember to use it at least twice a week to take advantage of the ruby crystals which polish away dead surface cells, leaving my skin brighter, clearer and younger looking. It’s formulated with anti-aging Hyaluronic Acid, seaweed and organic red tea extracts making for an excellent combo of nourishment and antioxidant protection.
French Girl Organics Rose Lip Polish
This is another product that I’ve written about a few times. When it’s good, it’s good! What can I say? I love the combination of organic shea butter, coconut oil, sugar and mint & rose geranium essential oils – it gently removes dry skin and leaves my lips supple and hydrated. When I pop out of the shower, I top my lips with my favorite lip balm and boom! As good as new!
What are your dry skin winter secrets?
