Mmmmmm the green dream! This is one of my favorite smoothies to whip up when I want to start the day off with something nice and healthy. It’s packed with spinach, superfoods and JUST the right amount of tropical fruit to make for something absolutely delicious. As of late, it’s been my daily go-to, such a refreshing way to start the morning!
Here’s how to make it, and please note, if you want to keep it really light and tight (helllo 2018 resolutions!) cut the banana portion and substitute with ice.
Recipe: The Green Dream Smoothie
Grab:
One really big handful of spinach
Small handful of mango
1 banana (frozen or regular)
1 TBSP almond butter
1 TBSP hemp seeds
1 TBSP ground flaxseed
1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk or milk of your choice
Protein of your choice (optional – I omit this)
Make:
Add all ingredients to your blender, blend until smooth and enjoy!
